You will use your clinical expertise to deliver high quality bedside teaching to MD students at Northern Health.
You will also contribute to examinations, mentor students, and strengthen the University's presence within Northern Clinical School.

What you will deliver:
- Deliver high quality bedside teaching and clinical tutorials for MD students across key Northern Health departments.
- Support organisation and smooth delivery of the clinical placement programme, including timetabling, coordination and liaison with clinicians.
- Contribute to design, delivery and marking of written and clinical assessments, ensuring fairness and rigour.
- Provide pastoral care, mentoring and performance support for students, addressing attendance or progress concerns where required.
- Collaborate with Medical Student Education leaders to enhance programme quality and create student research opportunities.
You may be a great fit if:
- Hold a medical degree with specialist qualifications registrable in the state of Victoria.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to clinical teaching and excellence in medical education within hospital settings.
- Possess detailed knowledge of Northern Health departments such as Medicine, Surgery and Emergency.
- Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to delivery of the University of Melbourne medical student program at Northern Health.
- Build effective working relationships with clinicians, health professionals and administrative staff across hospital and university environments.
- Provide thoughtful pastoral care, mentoring and counselling to diverse medical students, including those facing performance difficulties.
- Manage competing teaching, clinical and administrative demands through strong organisation and proactive communication.
- A background in critical care practice is highly desirable.
