Job Description Summary
This position will be assuming all research oversight of other research technicians for this study and patient contact duties relating to this trial including: 1. outpatient screening that can last from a week to as much as 14 days; 2) administer and work with research technicians who will administer the standard operating procedures for patient randomization; 3) administer and work with research technicians who will administer assessments for the dose initiation phase of the study 4) and, conduct post hospital release contacts of patients to assess continuation of care.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents (including continuing reviews, amendments, and adverse event reporting) to the University of Pennsylvania Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- Assist in the preparation and processing of regulatory documentation with pharmaceutical companies and CROs.
- Assist in obtaining the appropriate signatures for regulatory forms.
- Organize and maintain all documentation required by sponsor or CRO.
- Conduct assessments with patients.
Position contingent upon grant funding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required, 2 to 3 years of experience preferred.
