Job Description Summary for B: Responsible for assisting with study coordination and recruitment for industry sponsored studies. Works directly with study physicians, research director, and other research staff. Major duties include screening/enrolling patients, conducting follow-up assessments, data collection, use of EDC systems, assessment of adverse events, ensuring patient and data safety, managing samples, and proactive communication with the team and PIs.
Job Responsibilities for B:
- Assist in coordinating clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols, GCP guidelines, federal/state requirements, and University policies.
- Provide oversight of study interventions and monitor subject care.
- Create and maintain research data, regulatory files, and databases.
- Collect and report data on adverse events.
- Prepare documents for IRB review, including informed consents.
- Conduct initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits with sponsors.
- Provide training for patient care staff.
- Serve as primary contact for subjects, sponsors, and staff.
- Travel to attend investigator meetings.
Qualifications for B: Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination.
Job Description Summary for C: Responsible for assisting with study coordination and recruitment. Performs screening visits, consenting, processing and shipping of labs, data entry, and coordinating investigational device trials in the cath lab.
Job Responsibilities for C:
- Identify and recruit study subjects, screen for eligibility, and obtain consents.
- Complete data entry and resolve queries.
- Organize study procedures, schedule visits, and manage billing.
- Process and manage sample inventory.
- Conduct follow-up calls and study visits.
- Assist with regulatory correspondence and audit preparation.
- Provide subject education and support.
- Assist with investigational device trials and device accountability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including training staff and reviewing new trials.
Qualifications for C: Bachelor of Science and 4 to 6 years of experience or equivalent combination.
Pay Range: $52,500.00 - $67,046.00 Annual Rate. Offers based on qualifications and experience.
