Job Description
The Department of Neurology - Aging, Behavioral & Cognitive Division at the University of Florida is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRCI) to assist senior research staff in coordinating and conducting clinical research activities within the Department of Neurology and PHHP. Working under supervision, the CRCI will support study visits, data collection, sample processing, and participant interaction to ensure study protocols are followed accurately and efficiently.
About this Role
- Running research study visits under the supervision of senior coordinators. These study visits will include overseeing neuroimaging sessions, administering standardized motor, neuropsychological, and cognitive batteries to participants and/or participant care partners with supervision. The CRCI will collect any additional information required during research visits such as participant demographic information, medical history, etc.
- Assisting senior coordinators with collection of biospecimens and processing samples for research studies according to protocol requirements. The CRCI will be expected to ship samples according to protocols. May be expected to become certified in administering blood draws under the supervision of more senior coordinators.
- Managing clinical data on the participating subjects. With the help of the supervisor and/or investigator, the CRCI will collect data, and enter the results into electronic database as required by the study.
- Assisting senior study coordinators with recruitment and enrollment efforts, as well as assisting with ongoing databases that require phone call surveys to be implemented and recorded.

Expected Salary: $43,888 to $45,000; Commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree or an allied health professional degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of a one-year commitment but heavily prefer two years.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and relevant experience in clinical area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience with research visits.
- Experience with institutional review board and NIH funded studies.
- Experience with data analysis (R).
- Experience with neuroimaging, especially fMRI.
- Experience administering cognitive, motor, and/or neuropsychological testing.
