Position Highlights
The University of Arizona Health Sciences (UAHS) Clinical and Translational Sciences Research Center (CATS) is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator II to work closely with colleagues in a fast-paced environment. This position will offer ample opportunity to learn about the world of human subject clinical research. This position will be responsible for coordinating multiple clinical trials. The main focus will be driving participant recruitment by engaging with individuals in various clinical environments and independently conducting eligibility screening, informed consent procedures, and completing study enrollment visits. Clinical Research Coordinator II are responsible for accurate collection and timely entry of data into various program platforms, collection and processing of bio-specimens, scheduling and follow-up communication with participants, and overall compliance with program procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Pre-Screening/ Screening/Recruiting/Enrollment/ of study participants into clinical trials. Consenting, conducting study appointments and procedures. Gathering study data and data entry.
- Coordination of study visits and study procedures. Maintaining regulatory and study documentation. Creating source documents, keep appropriate logs, track participants throughout their participation. Maintaining study specific training.
- Collecting study specimens, processing and shipping. Maintaining study supply and equipment inventory.
- Communication between study team and sponsors and vendors. Attending team meetings with Principal Investigator. Update Principal Investigator and supervisor on study status. Prepare and attend monitor and audit visits.
- Work closely with Principal Investigators to coordinate and execute all aspects of multiple clinical trials. Work with CRC I team members to mentor, share knowledge and help train.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to maneuver multiple tasks at once.
- Knowledge of Cerner, OnCore, ReCap.
- Fluent in writing and speaking Spanish.
- Trained in phlebotomy and biospecimen collection.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work in a clinical setting.
- Willing to work independently and in a team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
