Position Highlights
The Division of Surgical Oncology is working as a collaborative team uniting and coordinating multidisciplinary scientific projects and programs across the spectrum of surgical oncology including hepatobiliary, pancreatic, colorectal, endocrine, melanoma and breast multidisciplinary oncologic care. The Research Coordinator is responsible for creating, submitting, and updating IRBs, building and maintaining databases that support these research studies, collecting and analyzing statistics for surgical oncology research projects. A clinical background and strong skills in biostatistics with the ability to perform statistical analysis is preferred. Expertise in RedCAP is also desired.
This position administers complex scientific research programs and is also responsible for coordinating the timely submission of the competing and non-competing renewals of federally funded grants. The successful candidate will interact and collaborate with project investigators, advisors, university and federal administrators. The Research Coordinator is expected to assist with the planning and implementation of research programs to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with NIH and University requirements.
