Clinical Research Coordinator III - Pediatrics Endocrinology

Job Description:

• Administrative Responsibilities: Prepare IRB/CRC documents for new and ongoing research studies. Maintain regulatory compliance. Collaborate with coordinating centers. Maintain active collaboration with coordinators and co-investigators. Supervise reimbursement process. Prepare and update orders, worksheets, checklists. Participate in conference calls and attend meetings as needed.
• Conduct Study Research Visits: Obtain pertinent information from various settings. May perform venipuncture and glucose tolerance tests. Coordinate patient-related research data collection and manage sample specimen processing/shipment. Assist in maintaining study-related supplies and ordering as needed. Maintain accurate patient records.
• Recruitment: Independently identify and recruit subjects for research studies across the T1D program at UF. Attend camps and screening events for recruitment and screening. Obtain and arrange transfer of samples from existing Biobanks.

Expected Salary: $83,850 annually; commensurate based on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Coordinator; 4-year degree; Patient care experience (RN or LPN preferred); Knowledge/work experience in clinical research; Experience with clinical trials regulations and management.
