Position Overview:
This position serves as the primary operational leader for daily clinic activities and is responsible for coordinating patient care delivery, staff workflow, and clinic operations within the Campus Health Center.
Salary and Benefits:
$85,500 to $102,800, commensurate with experience

Primary Duties:
- Lead and coordinate daily clinical operations to support safe, timely, efficient, and student-centered care.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted license as a registered nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Three (3) years of relevant professional nursing experience in an ambulatory, primary care, urgent care, community health, public health, or comparable clinical setting.
- At least one (1) year of experience providing clinical leadership, staff supervision, team coordination, or comparable leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing assessment, clinical triage, medication administration, patient education, and appropriate escalation of care.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, delegate responsibilities within applicable scopes of practice, assess competencies, provide feedback, and address performance concerns.
- Knowledge of infection prevention, immunization practices, medication management, clinical safety, and emergency-response procedures.
- Experience implementing clinical policies, standing orders, protocols, workflows, or evidence-based practices.
- Experience participating in quality improvement, incident review, chart auditing, performance measurement, or related patient-safety activities.
- Knowledge of applicable healthcare privacy, documentation, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and the ability to use clinical and operational data to monitor performance and improve services.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including the ability to establish priorities and respond effectively in a dynamic clinical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, staff, students, university partners, public-health agencies, and community providers.
- Experience providing culturally responsive care and working effectively with diverse populations, including individuals who have experienced barriers to healthcare access.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound professional judgment, and work independently within established authority and scope of practice.
Working Conditions:
Clinical office environment. Some travel may be required.
