Job Description
The Clinical Skills Veterinary Technician will be working within the scope and guidelines of SACS and AVMA accrediting bodies as well as OSHA and USDA. This technician will work closely with students and designated faculty and will assist in the supervision of lab and clinical activities for assigned courses and educational activities under the direction of the designated faculty. Preparation of these laboratories might include organization of resources including: faculty, animals, student groups, equipment for laboratory, and consumables for laboratories. The Clinical Skills Veterinary Technician will be required to aid in set up labs, and properly clean, inventory and replace equipment.
Required Qualifications
*A.S., A.A.S., or B.S. in Veterinary Technology; *in good professional standing.
Preferred Qualifications
*Minimum of two years clinical experience in various settings; *minimum of one year being an instructor in an associate degree level veterinary technology program or veterinary medical college. *current state license in the required discipline;
