The Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic (BUHAWC) is an interdisciplinary and holistic Allied Health Service providing accessible and valuable care to the community. Specialising in teaching and training the clinic is student-led, where university students (under the supervision of experienced clinical and academic experts) provide a range of health services to the public, including psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and dietetics, and exercise and sports science.

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor to lead and support the development of occupational therapy services and supervision of Master of Occupational Therapy students undertaking Level I and Level II Practice Education Placements in BUHAWC. In this role, you will provide clinical supervision in alignment with university policies, ensuring the highest standards of supervision and subject content. You’ll also assist with academic and administrative duties such as preparing assessments, grading, and contributing to subject delivery.

This role involves overseeing the daily activities of students, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and contributing to the development and implementation of treatment plans for clients. The Clinical Supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing the clinical competencies of Occupational Therapy students while working collaboratively with a dynamic and supportive interdisciplinary team. Additionally, you will engage with key stakeholders and collaborative partners to promote Bond University Health and Wellness clinical services.

About the person

The successful applicant will hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy and be a registered occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Strong clinical skills, combined with a passion for supervising and mentoring Occupational Therapy students, will be critical in supporting the ongoing professional development of our clinic staff and students.

Salary details

The salary for this 0.6 FTE position commences at $64,831.52 per annum (Full-time Equivalent is $108,052.53 per annum) plus 12% superannuation.
