Clinician Educator- Internal Medicine (Open Rank)
Job Summary
The Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks a clinician-educator interested in a career as a clinician, practicing and teaching general internal medicine in a patient-centered medical home.
The physician will provide care for patients at a University of Colorado Health Internal Medicine Clinic or CU Internal Medicine Clinic, with opportunities for precepting residents and students. Faculty share responsibilities for night, week-end, and vacation coverage with other members of the group practice and will participate in decisions regarding the practice operation.
The clinician-educator will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician/educator/scholar. Clinician-educators are encouraged to collaborate with other faculty in clinical research projects.
Work Location
Onsite - This role is expected to work onsite and is located in the Denver Metro area.
