Develop and implement practices and competitions to provide a positive and competitive experience for players.

Build a network of college club programs and athletic contests that are an appropriate match for our team to compete against.

Establish team rules and protocols and implement and enforce appropriately.

Provide team supervision at practices and competitions both on and off campus. Interpret and implement the rules and regulations of the team, the department and the university.

Provide consistent communication to current student-athletes and prospective players.

Meet regularly with the Director of Recreation to evaluate roster, budget and schedule.

Represent the university and team at recruitment related events.

Must adhere to all NCAA/Conference/Salve Regina University rules and regulations.

In particular, club sport coaches are charged with being knowledgeable of and assuring and monitoring compliance consistent with all student-athletes, staff and assistant coaches with applicable governing constitutions, by-laws, rules, policies, interpretations and regulations of the NCAA and the University. Staff members shall immediately advise the compliance office if there is a reason to believe that violations have occurred or will occur and shall cooperate fully in any investigation of possible NCAA or Conference violations.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Recreation to include assistance with intramural programs.

Required Qualifications

• Must have the ability to work independently.
• Experience in mentoring high school and/or college students.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree.
• Competitive athletic experience.
• Coaching experience at the high school, club or college level.
• Chauffer's license or willingness and ability to obtain equivalent endorsement.
