"Collection Infrastructure Officer"

The Position

The Australian National University Library is seeking a Collection Infrastructure Officer to support the delivery of high-quality support services across the library. Working within the Collection Infrastructure team, this role is responsible for assisting with the coordination and upkeep of library buildings and infrastructure, ensuring safe, functional, and well-maintained environments for staff, students, and visitors. The position involves monitoring and responding to maintenance requests, liaising with contractors, and supporting compliance with health and safety standards. This role involves work across multiple campus locations.

The Person

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about delivering reliable, client-focused services to the ANU community. In this role, you will work as part of a small team, responding to maintenance issues, coordinating repairs, and supporting projects that enhance the library's physical environment. High attention to detail, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and the ability to work collaboratively. Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field will be highly regarded, as will a commitment to safety and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
