Maintains a social media content calendar and produces monthly analytics reports.Develops and implements social media advertising campaigns and monitors community engagement.Multimedia Production:- Produces and edits photo and video content, including short-form and long-form video pieces, using tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro or Adobe Rush.
- Produces and edits audio content and podcasts, including recording, editing, mixing, and distribution across podcast platforms.
- Designs graphics, animations, and other visual/creative assets using tools such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Express, and Canva.
Website Management:- Collaborates with the MarCom team on website content, web design, and updates using content management systems such as WordPress and Sitecore.
- Provides support to internal teams requiring website changes or updates.
Project Management:- Works with the MarCom team to facilitate the intake process for marketing requests from the Florida Center for Nursing. Maintains the Monday.com board and all processes associated with strategy, deliverables, timelines, etc. to support the needs of the FCN. Actively liaises needs between the MarCom and FCN teams.
- Coordinates across stakeholders (faculty, staff, students, vendors) and tracks deliverables from concept through completion.
- Manages multiple concurrent projects spanning social media, multimedia, and web platforms.
Communications & Marketing Strategy:- Working under the direction of the associate director, develops comprehensive marketing and communication strategies and plans for various FCN initiatives, programs, reports, etc.
- Contributes to overall communications strategy and ensures consistency of messaging and brand voice.
- Supports the associate director with media requests, media pitching, press release distribution, and other public relations efforts, as needed.
Miscellaneous:- May travel for events/programs within Florida to support FCN initiatives.
- Performs other administrative and support duties as required in support of the mission and communication strategy of the center.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, public relations, technical writing, digital media, or related field, with two years of experience in related positions; or a Master's degree in the fields listed above. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, communications, or social media in a higher education setting.
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress and Sitecore.
- Experience managing social media platforms and social media marketing tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Hootsuite.
- Experience producing and editing video content using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience producing and editing audio/podcast content using tools such as Adobe Audition.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Express, and/or Canva.
- Experience coordinating or managing multi-channel communications projects, including timelines and cross-team collaboration.
