Duties:
Part-time, non-credit Continuing Education instructor
Moraine Valley Community College-Community and Continuing Education is seeking instructors in a variety of exciting and in-demand areas, including but not limited to the following. Instructors must be able to deliver engaging classroom/hands-on instruction for learners.
In-Demand Topics (non-credit): AI & Art, Native Gardening, Gardening for Pollinators, Upholstery and/or Furniture Restoration, Home Improvement, Educator Professional Development, Any other specialized skill is welcomed
Education/Experience:
Relevant work experience. Please include a history of qualifications in the field that you are applying to, industry related references should accompany the resume.
Qualifications:
Experience in the classroom or class setting.
Ability to teach diverse learners in the topic.
Demonstrate a shared value in the college's core mission and vision.
Position Status: Part Time Temporary
Hours: Instructors have the ability to create their own schedule. Classes may be taught Monday – Saturday during the morning, afternoon or evenings.
All sites available, SWEC, ECBI and the main campus
Salary/Wage: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
