Job Description

1. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in composition, music theory, and related subjects.
2. Supervise student compositions and thesis projects.
3. Contribute to curriculum development and the ongoing advancement of the music program.
4. Maintain a strong national and international profile through research, creative activity, and scholarship.

Qualification Requirements

1. Doctoral degree (Ph.D., D.M.A., or equivalent) in composition, music theory, or a closely related field;
2. A proven record of excellence in both creative work and scholarly research;
3. Demonstrated effectiveness in university-level teaching;
4. Strong communication skills, with a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the classroom.
