Computer Lab Manager
LAB MANAGER
TRUMAN COLLEGE
Truman College’s Information Technology (IT) Department is seeking a Full-Time Lab Manager to provide computer hardware and software support to the college.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides computer hardware and software support to the college, assisting students, faculty and staff users.
- Assists faculty and administrative users with access to District's administrative computing system.
- Maintains network and related equipment; install and test software applications.
- Documents and regularly updates all operations and network procedures.
- Trains and supervises lab assistants and technicians.
- Maintains inventory of supplies, routine maintenance of equipment and other duties as required, including reassignment to assist with registration.
- Performs related duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Computer Science/Data Processing or related area or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.
- Must have hands-on experience with Windows Domain Networks.
- Knowledge of access and use of Internet resources.
- Strong background in microcomputer applications and operating systems, including MS O/S, Mac O/S, MS Office products.
- Must be self-directed and innovative, able to assess current operations in an effort to improve the future goals of the District. Must be able to meet deadlines in a timely manner.

The starting salary for this position is between $69,545.00 and $76,499.50. The offered salary will be determined by the respective collective bargaining agreement and applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
