Computer Solutions Specialist
Job Summary
Provide secondary systems support in addition to providing operational support and assistance for electronic networking activities and product-specific technical assistance across the college. Reports to the Director of Network and Users Services and has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications - Education
Associate’s degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
Qualifications - Experience
At least one year of comparable work experience is required. Familiarity and hands-on experience with PC hardware and software applications, networking, and telecommunications.

- Well-developed problem-solving and organizational skills
- Able to carry out a variety of tasks concurrently and move from one task to another as required
- Able to work under the pressure of deadlines
- Able to exercise sound judgement and take initiative as appropriate
- Able to communicate effectively with people lacking technical skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds and climb small ladders, as necessary for equipment installation and maintenance
- Sufficient dexterity to be able to repair equipment efficiently
- Able to crawl under tables
- Flexibility to work different shift hours
Work Hours
8:30 am – 4:30 pm
