Job Description
Acts as the “owner’s representative” on campus construction projects, including interpreting, administering, and enforcing contracts during the construction phase. Provides construction management for design and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the “Owner’s Representative” to ensure the best interests of the University are represented and the best possible finished product is achieved with minimum disruption to campus activities.
- Manage contract construction project schedule to ensure work progresses expeditiously, monitor manpower requirements of both the contractor and the consultant assuring adequate resources are provided; monitor and expedite material and equipment fabrication and delivery to ensure project completion as scheduled.
- Manage large and technically complex contracted construction projects; assure compliance with industry standards, building codes, engineering practices, the University mission and facility objectives and the requirements of the contract.
- Perform a variety of assignments and analyses that impact the Engineering Construction & Design function.
- Analyze, review and design construction plans, specifications, and equipment as needed.
- Solve routine to complex problems and provides solutions, recommendations, etc.
- Analyze potential solutions using experience, judgments and precedence, providing input and recommendations.
- Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team, ensuring efficient workflows, productivity, etc.
- Explain complex information to others, ensuring audience understanding.
- Provide project management on various multi-disciplinary projects ensuring compliance with contract documents and industry standards.

Shift
40 hours/week. Monday thru Friday. Additional hours and/or weekends may be required during peak operating times.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Licensure may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with eBuilder (now Trinity Unity Construct) platform
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $60,944 - $83,560
Grade: GGS-011
