About the Role

Fabuwood is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media & Content Coordinator to support the company's growing content and social media efforts. This role reports to the Social Media, Influencer & Content Manager and is ideal for someone who enjoys both creating content and managing the day-to-day details that keep social channels active, responsive, and engaging.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with social media and content creation and is comfortable capturing photo and video content, performing basic video editing and graphic design, and supporting content production across a fast-paced marketing environment.

You'll work closely with and assist Fabuwood's Content Creator while collaborating with the broader marketing team to help increase the amount of content produced internally, strengthen community engagement, support influencer and partner activity, and contribute to larger productions and events. The goal is simple: consistently create useful, engaging content while helping Fabuwood stay active, responsive, and connected across social media.

Schedule: M-Th 8:00AM - 5:00PM, F 8:00AM - 12:00PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture photo and video content on an ongoing basis for social media, internal marketing, product storytelling, events, and other brand initiatives.
  • Photograph and film social-first content as needed, including product features, behind-the-scenes content, tutorials, employee or partner content, event coverage, and short-form video.
  • Assist the Content Creator with day-to-day content production, including preparing for shoots, capturing supporting footage, organizing assets, and helping execute content concepts across social platforms.
  • Edit short-form video and prepare content for social platforms, including basic trimming, captions, formatting, transitions, and platform-specific adjustments.
  • Create simple graphic assets for social media using approved brand guidelines, helping supplement the workload of the graphic design team when appropriate.
  • Assist with larger-scale content productions, photoshoots, launches, and events such as KBIS, including preparation, on-site content capture, and post-event content support.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and other community interactions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Escalate customer concerns, sensitive messages, or issues to the Director of Marketing or appropriate internal team when additional support is needed.
  • Proactively engage with designers, dealers, influencers, partners, and other relevant accounts to help strengthen relationships and expand Fabuwood's social presence.
  • Track influencer and content-partner deliverables, deadlines, approvals, and contractual requirements to help ensure commitments are completed on time.
  • Maintain organized content files and support the social media content calendar by helping coordinate assets, posting needs, deadlines, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Provide additional social media and content support as needed, including trend monitoring, content research, asset gathering, and day-to-day marketing requests.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, communications, or a related role; strong internship or portfolio experience may also be considered.
  • Hands-on experience capturing high-quality photo and video content using a smartphone, camera, or similar content-production tools.
  • Basic video-editing skills and comfort creating short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, or similar channels.
  • Basic graphic-design capabilities using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, community engagement, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the judgment to represent a brand professionally in comments, messages, and public interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple content requests, deadlines, and deliverables at once.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and content needs may shift quickly.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and know when to escalate questions, customer issues, or brand-sensitive situations.
  • Comfortable using approved company-issued devices and account-access procedures to manage social media channels securely.
  • A collaborative, hands-on attitude and willingness to support content capture at events, productions, showrooms, and other locations as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Comfortable appearing on camera when appropriate, whether demonstrating a product, participating in a tutorial, showing hands in a how-to video, or being featured in brand content.
  • Experience working with influencers, creators, designers, or brand partners and tracking campaign deliverables.
  • Experience with social media management, scheduling, analytics, or listening tools is a plus.
  • Interest in interior design, kitchen and bath, home products, building products, architecture, or related industries is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means Fabuwood is producing more strong, timely content internally while maintaining an active and responsive social presence. Content is captured consistently, social communities receive thoughtful engagement, influencer commitments are tracked, and the marketing team has a dependable partner who can identify opportunities and help move content from idea to execution.

At Fabuwood, we value people who take ownership of their work, bring ideas forward, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and contribute to a collaborative, results-focused marketing team.
