About the Project
Many industries looking to improve the sustainability of their manufacturing lines to maximise resource efficiency while reducing the environmental impact. The aim of this project is to reduce the waste of catalyst manufacturing process by applying advance continuous manufacturing technologies and material science.
Continuous manufacturing is sustainable and produce consistence product quality as well as reduce the time for the trial and manufacturing process. The unique facility at University of Sheffield represents a remarkable opportunity not only for teaching but especially for research where current and future research challenges in the area of powder catalyst can be addressed in term of manufacturing process as well as material characterisation.
Required qualifications:
Applicants should have a minimum of an upper second class honours degree in Physical Sciences and Engineering, such as Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
If English is not your first language then you must have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) average of 6.5 or above with at least 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.
