Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher

1) Native English speakers with good command of writing

2) Enthusiastic at teaching EFL

3) Experienced in teaching Professional Communication at university

is preferred

Job Description:

1. Yearly contract for a 3-year period

2. The basic teaching hours is 12 hours per week for an assistant professor or 13 hours per week for a lecturer

3. Assisting in curriculum design and related administrative works

Specialization:

1. The candidate should meet one of the following requirements, providing supporting documents:

(1) The candidate should have at least 2 years of full-time teaching experience at university/college and have at least one publication within the past 5 years that meets our tier-2 academic work ranking or above (Please refer to Attachment 1).

(2) The candidate should have at least 2 years of full-time post-doctoral research experience and have at least one publication within the past 5 years that meets our tier-2 academic work ranking or above (Please refer to Attachment 1).

(3) The candidate should have at least 2 years of full-time working experience in bilingual-education fields or other related industry (excluding the experience specified in (1) nor (2)).

(4) The candidate should have outstanding academic or industrial achievements in specific fields.

Notes：

①The years of experience specified in (1) to (3) above should be calculated from the Ph.D./Master’s degree obtained to the application deadline.

②Document of work experience should be provided.

③The publications mentioned in (1) and (2) can be the papers published 3 years before the date of the Ph.D./Master’s degree obtained.

④If the representative work is a journal paper with more than one author, the applicant should be the first or corresponding author. If it is a book/chapter with more than one author, the contribution by the applicant should be stated.

3.Diploma and transcript at the master’s level or higher. Applicants with graduate level diplomas from institutions in foreign countries must have their certificates of degree, transcripts and other documents authenticated by an overseas ROC embassy, representative office, economic and cultural office or any institution authorized by MOFA. In addition to the documents stated above, they should also provide personal immigration entry/exit record.

5.Hard copies of the published works on the publication list
