About the Role:
The Coordinator, Career Readiness and Employer Partnerships is the
primary liaison between the College and the Norse Network Hub,
connecting employers with faculty, staff, and students to expand
career opportunities and strengthen employer partnerships.
This position coordinates employer engagement activities,
communicates opportunities across the College, and supports
initiatives that align academic programs with workforce
needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Employer Engagement
- Serve as the College's primary contact for employer engagement
activities with the Norse Network Hub.
Connect employers with appropriate faculty, programs, and
departments.
Identify and communicate employer partnership opportunities
that support student career development and experiential
learning.
Collaboration & Programming
- Coordinate employer events and engagement activities within the
College, including information sessions, networking events,
classroom presentations, and employer visits.
- Collaborate with faculty, Career Services, and Hub staff to
expand employer involvement in student learning and career
readiness initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships among employers, faculty, and
academic leadership.
Communication & Reporting
- Attend regular Hub meetings and share employer engagement
updates.
- Track employer interactions and engagement activities using
designated university systems.
- Support continuous improvement by sharing best practices and
identifying opportunities to strengthen employer partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and
relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate
effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating programs, events, or partnership
initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education, employer relations, workforce
development, career services, or community engagement.
- Familiarity with Handshake, TeamDynamix, or similar CRM/event
management systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking
skills.
- Project and event coordination experience.
- Ability to work independently while building collaborative
partnerships.
- Commitment to student success and employer engagement.
