Balances financial queries, prepares schedules and sets
deadlines to ensure efficiency of workflow
Implements department business procedures and tasked with
ensuring related internal compliance or compliance with local,
state, and federal regulations as applicable
Works closely with campus locations for the coordination of
various business operations and accounting activities, including
payment of invoices, expense reports, initiating requisitions and
purchase orders, research and reconciliation of accounts, and
travel expenses
Monitors cost and budgets and assists with budget
recommendations; responsible for making some budget
recommendations
Communicates and coordinates with department vendors and
various LSC departments like Facilities, OTS, Courier, and
Purchasing for a variety of tasks
Conducts research, collects data, and creates a variety of
reports, presentations, correspondences, and communications
(including hard copy and digital documents)
Assists with honors and international projects/logistics for
various projects, including but not limited to the Honors
International Capstone project
Assists with training and monitoring of support staff with
regards to budgetary processes and Honors and International
business operations
Utilizes SharePoint site and provides administrative support as
directed
Coordinates budgetary support for multiple projects, events,
conferences, travel, etc.
Takes part in and/or leads special projects as needed. May
provide financial and other operational support for divisional
events
Responsible for other reasonable related duties as
assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to
do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;
carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or
driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to
perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a
Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general
office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to
carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal
exposure to safety hazards
- Some travel may be required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an
equivalent combination of experience and education
Salary
Hiring salary range is: $48,152 - $55,375
Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted
full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall
in that range is determined by your related experience and
education. Should you receive an offer of employment from Lone Star
