Coordinator, Laboratory Resource and Testing
Job Summary
The incumbent assures optimal functioning and utilization of computer, testing and web resources by SON students, faculty, and staff. He/she coordinates resource laboratory activities that enhance student learning, maintains, and promotes utilization of laboratory equipment resources.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of broad range of basic computer applications, technologies and software used in hypermedia environments, including those involving work processing, spreadsheets, PDF creation, photo, and graphic edition
- Working knowledge of the World Wide Web, basic website terminology and website usage
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Understanding of the value of external links and link sharing
- Detail oriented
- Creativity and self-motivation
- Sound decision-making abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbal, written and inter-personal
- Demonstrated ability to respond with a high degree of urgency to the needs and requests of others

Essential Job Functions
- Promotes utilization of the resource laboratory
- Participates in the development of effective processes and procedures
- Assures optimal functioning or resource and testing devices
- Coordinates installation and maintenance of related resource equipment
- Coordinates schedules and organizes testing as required by SON faculty
- Coordinates implementation of procedures as needed to meet growing/changing demands for proctored tests
- Manages all activities related to the SON website, and maintains responsibility for content displayed thereon
- Conducts annual inventory of a laboratory testing, and associated resources

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum Experience
Three (3) years’ experience in an academic setting
One (1) years experience working with students and educators
