Coordinator – LUMI AI Factory Hub
We’re looking for a Coordinator to help shape and run the Otaniemi AI Factory Hub – a collaborative environment connecting researchers, students, and companies to accelerate breakthroughs in artificial intelligence.

Your role
In this role, you will play a central part in building and coordinating the operations of the Otaniemi AI Factory Hub and its community. Your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the establishment and daily operations of the Hub, a physical and virtual co-working and research collaboration space linked to the LUMI-AI supercomputer
- Developing and coordinating activities for AI students, researchers, company participants, and Research Software Engineers (RSEs), such as study groups, networking events, company match-making sessions, and lectures on High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI
- Coordinating arrangements for events and providing guidance and support to visitors, including participants in co-working sessions, trainings, workshops, and other activities
- Facilitating access to computing resources and organizing opportunities for practical familiarization with HPC environments
- Fostering a welcoming and inclusive community that attracts AI talent and connects diverse stakeholders, including students, researchers, RSEs, startups, SMEs, and industry partners
- Handling project administration tasks related to Aalto University’s role in this EU initiative, in close collaboration with CSC – IT Center for Science (project coordinator) and other partners
- Collaborating closely with CSC, the LUMI infrastructure, and Aalto Science-IT to ensure seamless integration of resources and services
Your profile
We are looking for a proactive and organized team player with the following qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g., technology, education, communications, administration, or business)
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience in coordinating research, innovation, or community activities (EU project administration is considered an asset)
- Excellent communication skills in English (Finnish is considered an asset)
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders – including researchers, students, companies, and international partners – as well as to work independently and proactively
- Interest in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and research ecosystems
- A genuine willingness to learn and grow as part of a collaborative team

The position is full-time and will be based at Aalto University’s campus in Otaniemi, Espoo. The contract is fixed-term for an initial period until March 2028. The salary will be defined according to Aalto University’s pay grade system, based on the candidate’s experience.
