Reporting to the Director of New Student Orientation this position is responsible for assisting with the planning, implementation and assessment of orientation events and services designed to support first-year, transfer, international, and adult students during their transition to CU Denver. Additionally, this person will support family orientation and programs. This role must be able to maintain a working knowledge at all times of all current University policies that are relevant to business operations which may include, but not be limited to procurement, human resources, budget, events, and travel.
Duties include hiring/recruitment, supervision of student staff, and timesheet management and approval The Coordinator serves as an active participant on university committees focused on student registration and enrollment initiatives, acts as a resource to student and academic affairs units on matters related to orientation. This role will also assist the Student Transitions & Family Engagement (STFE) Business Services Coordinator with student payroll support as needed for First Year Experiences and Peer Advocate Leaders (PALS).
