Pay Range: $21.15 - $21.57 per hour
Hours: Standard University business hours. 8:30am - 5:00pm (academic year), 8:00am - 4:30pm (summer). Hours may vary based on operational needs.

Job Description: The Coordinator for Mentoring Programs will focus primarily on the Dimensions Mentoring Program coordinating and managing the student experience, social development, and academic success of all the students in the program. They will contribute to the development of a curriculum, informed by best practices, which provides individualized support for the well-being and sense of belonging of student participants. In addition, the position will provide support to 113 Euclid, Barner McDuffie and the Wellslink Leadership Program in support of planning and implementing programs/events for Belonging and Student Success.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree required.
Job Specific Qualifications:
Skills and Knowledge: The program coordinator demonstrates an appreciation and commitment to the concerns that impact students served by the Belonging and Student Success Office and all students. Strong knowledge and application of student development theory regarding multicultural populations through an intersectional lens. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing and communication skills, including workshop facilitation. Familiarity with assessment and evaluation. Experience supervising student staff is strongly desired. Program development and event planning and management. Excellent writing and editing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Experience relevant to working with the student populations served by Belonging and Student Success.
Responsibilities: Programming Coordination & Facilitation: Coordinate and manage Dimensions Mentoring Programs (a mentorship program focused on undergraduate women of color). Train and supervise Dimensions graduate student staff. Supervise undergraduate student staff (peer mentors) working with Dimensions. Oversee recruitment and selection of new mentors/mentees (creating Handshake listing, evaluating candidates, conducting interviews). Lead selection and onboarding of academic consultants. Create and monitor mentor and mentee applications. Lead mentor/intern interviews. Collaborate with academic consultants to plan fall and spring programming for each program. Assist with social media presence (Instagram & Facebook) for the program and the department. Assist with programming assessment initiatives for the program and department. Large-Scale Programming & Major Celebrations: Co-facilitate the Student Leaders Training for all Belonging and Student Success mentors, guides, peer leaders, etc. Collaborate with staff on belonging and student success programming including the planning and implementation of the celebratory months, and small to large scale student events, such as end of the year celebrations and receptions. Intercultural Engagement (IE) Shared Resources: Provide support for 113 Euclid and Barner McDuffie House as needed. Partner with staff of the Intercultural Collective in comprehensive programming and support; represent the Collective at university-wide opportunities (admissions events, family weekend, orientation). Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of Intercultural Collective suite (132 Schine) in partnership with other Intercultural Collective staff. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Assist partner staff in creating systems for supporting and managing mentors.
