Compensation for this position is expected to range between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour.
Position Summary
The Coordinator of Signature Events is responsible for helping achieve the University Advancement mission by providing overall logistical and administrative support to the Associate Director of Signature Events for an array of events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Associate Director of Signature Events with all event functions.
- Gather and confirm event details prior to the event day.
- Work with “Client” (event host) on event-related functions.
- Coordinate and confirm vendor details, logistics, and compliance.
- Data entry and organization of event logistics.
- Support the creative production of events.
- Maintain and assist with volunteer contacts and communication.
- Provide on-site assistance with audio-visual, campus information, catering, safety, etc.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of alumni events and University Advancement marquee events.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
