Coordinator, Salary Administration
Job Summary
The position of Coordinator, Salary Administration is assigned to the Human Resources Department and works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Salary Administration. The Coordinator performs a crucial role in a variety of confidential, administrative, and clerical tasks to support the overall operations of the Human Resources Department.
Under the direction of the Assistant Director - Salary Administration, this position is responsible for coordinating routine and day-to-day Salary Administration functions. This position serves as the subject matter expert for CSN and NSHE Payroll policies and processes, leave and time off for all employee types, personnel transactions, employment eligibility and requirements, personnel file creation, retention, and maintenance, Workday processes and HCM testing, CBA policies, hiring and termination policies and procedures, compensation schedules and salary changes, CSN, NSHE, State, and Federal policies and procedures and coordinates the arrangement and application of these practices, policies, and procedures among the Salary Administration team.
The primary responsibilities for this position are to effectively coordinate and execute the full employment cycle, from hire to termination, as well as all salary and personnel related transactions for all employee types - including Professional, Classified, Part-Time, and Contingent Workers/Volunteers.
