Qualifications

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or a related field

Minimum Experience

One (1) year of experience in victim/survivor services

Licenses/Certifications

Certifications or trainings in victim support, Title IX, or other related areas of student assistance, guidance, and support preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of Title IX, sexual misconduct, dating violence, and other power-based personal violence and applicable federal and state laws and regulations
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and skills
• Skilled at providing trauma informed services
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and utilize sound judgment in crisis situations
• Ability to maintain highly personal information in a confidential manner
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
