Copy & Mail Center Operations Coordinator - Facilities Management & Campus Services
Core responsibilities include:
- Acts as lead copier and bindery equipment operator for respective area; performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment, including clearing jams etc.; calls outside technician for major problems.
- Receive, review, and personally process requests for copier job requests/orders.
- Plan daily work assignments based on current workload, customer requirements, machine capabilities, etc.
- Ensure that all requests are logged into billing system; maintains accurate records of all requests.
- Delivery and pick up of work on campus as needed.
- Review inventory levels of copier and bindery supplies and places orders as needed.
- Contact and engage outside service providers as needed.
- Review requests with customers; makes suggestions regarding paper, binding, options, etc.; checks finished work to make certain that customer requirements are being met.
- Troubleshoot problems and questions, such as delivery dates or times, billing charges, partial orders, etc.
- Answer most questions or corrects most problems directly. Refers only the most difficult issues to supervisor.
- Distribute incoming mail, arrange for outgoing mail pickups, track all incoming packages, and notify recipient package needs picked up.
- Responsible for performing the center's accounting activities, including billing customers, collecting cash payments, and balancing daily receipts.
- Other duties as assigned.
You should demonstrate:
- Ability to accurately operate a wide variety of copying and bindery equipment.
- Able to interact and communicate well with the campus customers.
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail; keep and maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
- Required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Visual acuity to perform activities such as extended use of a computer monitor, extensive reading, transcribing, analyzing data and figures, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines, using measurement devices, and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eye.
- Walking and standing, bending, and lifting are occasionally required. May be required to travel to and work at various locations on campus.
