Core Faculty & Open Rank Professor, 12 Month Salaried (College of Medicine OBGYN Residency Program)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care while serving as a mentor, teacher, and clinical supervisor for residents and FSU medical students. We are looking for a candidate committed to clinical excellence, surgical mastery, and the advancement of women’s health in Northwest Florida.

Clinical Teaching and Supervision of Residents Core Program Clinical Teaching
Clinical Practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) or applicable Subspecialty
General Administration
GME Committees/Meetings
GME Lecturing/Teaching Conferences
GME Recruiting/Interviewing
GME Research/Scholarly Activity
Resident Evaluation/Monitoring
Program Evaluation

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the program in their vision and recruit core faculty.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
Valid FL medical license, or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain FL licensure.
Must be board certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
Must have a minimum of 3 years of faculty and administrative experience in an ACGME accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
