Core Texts and Ideas 2024-25 Professional Track Faculty Pool
The Thomas Jefferson Center for the Study of Core Texts and Ideas seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured positions to teach undergraduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes there is departmental need for an annual appointment. Salary is dependent upon position and qualifications.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. in a related field and a record of teaching excellence are preferred.
