Essential Job Duties:
The County Administrative Assistant is a member of the staff of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension (NCCE). The County Administrative Assistant's primary responsibility is to provide support to the County Extension Director and other staff as assigned. The County Administrative Assistant cooperates with colleagues in the NCCE and county departments in performing assigned responsibilities. The performance of assigned responsibility is governed by the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the NCCE.
Departmental Required Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma with two years of related experience OR
- Two-year degree with one year of related experience
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
- Degree in business, accounting, or related field
- Experience with budgeting or financial systems
- Experience in public service or government setting
- Customer service experience
