Costume Shop Manager, Theatre & Dance (1945)
Idaho State University is seeking a collaborative, creative and experienced pattern maker and costume technician as part-time Costume Shop Manager. The successful candidate will work 24 hours per week, nine months per year (mid August to mid May).
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a skilled costume technician or comparable stitcher of modern fashion. This position will work closely with designers, be responsible for shop maintenance, the realization of costume designs for our upcoming 2025/2026 season of shows, and manage student personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or at least six years related experience.
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a professional or academic environment.
- At least one year of costume pattern and build experience.
- The ability to understand and appreciate the mission of a theatre department in a liberal arts university and work closely with faculty, staff, and students.

Salary will be $23.92 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
