The School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) invites applications for the position of Counseling Student Services Coordinator (P00021905/R0083722). This is a 12-month position, set to begin May 1, 2026.
The School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation (CHPR) provides a quality education to a diverse student body at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our goal is to prepare students with the special knowledge and skills for professional work in education and human service fields, and to enhance students’ abilities to be successful in their chosen fields of study. Our School offers five undergraduate degrees, four graduate degrees, and five minors: American Sign Language, Educational Interpreting, Health and Exercise Science, Health Science, and Sport Management. Summary Of Job Duties
Under the direction of the Counseling Program Coordinator, the Student Services Coordinator is the CHPR contact for new and potential students. They are responsible for coordinating with Graduate Admissions, assisting with the fieldwork, practicum, and internship areas of designated academic programs, and managing data collection and reporting related to program accreditation processes for designated academic programs. The Student Services Coordinator works directly with Graduate Coordinator(s) and Field Experience Coordinator(s). This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university;
- Data collection and management using MS Excel or similar spreadsheet software, and MS Access or similar relational database software.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in an institutional, college or university environment.
