We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to supervise the day-to-day work of our Course Administration team, ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of student administration services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, improving processes, and supporting colleagues to deliver a high-quality service.
You will be confident working with systems and data, have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
As a Course Administration Officer you can expect to be involved in:
- Leading on skilled tasks within the Course Admin Office to ensure the effective running of course and programme administration and compliance.
- Deputising for the Course Admin Manager to ensure quality and high standards are maintained, and attending networking opportunities.
- Through a system of regular and rigorous data validation, ensuring that system data is reliable, of high quality, and consistent with the University’s regulations and business processes.
- As a highly skilled specialist user, assist in the creation and maintenance of core functionality on Kent systems, to enable core administration and retain accuracy of all student records.
What will you bring to the role?
- Experienced user of databases and student record-keeping.
- Experience of using complex spreadsheets and databases on a regular basis.
- Experience of making decisions based on complex rules and guidance from multiple sources.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - establishing relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds.
