Are you a qualified trainer with a passion for teaching and public safety? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Course Instructor to join our growing training team, delivering high-quality First Aid, Lifeguarding and Water Safety training.

About the Role
Based primarily at the Iffley Road Sports Complex, you’ll deliver accredited and internal training, including First Aid at Work (FAW), Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), Outdoor First Aid, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and Water Safety Awareness training.
You’ll create engaging, practical learning experiences for people from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. The role is currently part-time, with genuine potential to become full-time as our training programme grows. There will also be opportunities to expand the courses you deliver through additional qualifications and professional development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality accredited first aid, lifeguarding and water safety courses.
- Supporting the growth of our training programme.
- Managing course administration and awarding body requirements.
- Maintaining training equipment and resources.
- Supporting quality assurance activities and external audits.
- Working with colleagues to deliver an excellent learner experience.
- Identifying opportunities to increase participation and course bookings.
About You
You will have:
- Level 3 Trainer Assessor qualification for Lifeguarding.
- Level 3 First Aid Trainer Assessor qualification.
- Valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- Valid First Aid at Work qualification.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent).
- Experience in a leisure, sports or training environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required.
This position is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

This role does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa. We are therefore unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
