Job/Project description:
The CAES at the University of Mohammed VI Polytechnic seeks a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our academic institution as a postdoctoral research staff member with expertise in experimental and modeling the dynamics of fertilizers in soils. The successful candidate will contribute to our institution's commitment to excellence in research and innovation in fertilizer experiments. The candidate will study the interactions between fertilizer dynamics and the water-soil-plant-atmosphere continuum. The aim is to use an integrated approach based on experimental and modeling studies of different fertilizer formulations in soils to study the dynamics of fertilizers and their interactions with processes across the water-soil-plant-atmosphere continuum. The main responsibilities are: Conduct experiment in the Lab, modeling in collaboration with researchers in our group, preparing soil for physico-chemical property measurements, analyzing the dynamics of different formulations of fertilizers in soils, prepare high quality manuscripts, mentoring master students and PhDs
Area of specialization: experimentation, modeling, and analysis of the processes in the water-soil-plant-atmosphere continuum.
