Job Summary
Seeking qualified, experienced instructors to offer dual credit Career & Technical courses in the high schools.
Typical Job Functions
- Provides instruction and assessment of curriculum aligned with College of Eastern Idaho Career and Technical courses
- Uses the Idaho SkillStack® system and CEI Self Service to enter skills and grades at the end of each term
- Works with post-secondary liaison to adhere to National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships standards for delivery of curriculum and assessment. Assessment of student work will be the same in high school as it is at CEI. For example, discussion will take place between the instructor and CEI's faculty liaison as to what constitutes "A" work, etc.
- Works with the Early College Office team to assist students in the registering for courses
- Keep Early College Programs office advised of any issues or changes that may arise
- Attends annual professional development at CEI
- Works with the Early College Transition Coordinator to arrange testing and transcription for Technical Competency Credit
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in related subject
- Idaho CTE certification OR ability to obtain Idaho CTE certification
- Subject related industry endorsement or Idaho CTE subject specific endorsement
- Teaching experience
- Incumbent must reside in Idaho (Currently CEI doesn’t sponsor Visas)

- Bilingual (Spanish)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
Onsite work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required.
Background Investigations:
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225: Background Checks
