Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the office: answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
- Process general forms (address change, name changes, etc.).
- Process transcript requests, enrollment verifications, diploma reprints.
- Supervise student employees.
- Support graduation processing, including degree certification and diploma distribution.
- Troubleshoot registration and portal issues for students and faculty.
- Process returning student clearance, student cancellations and other tasks as assigned.
- Maintain files, maintain inventory of supplies and order as appropriate.
- Help coordinate advising workshops and academic success programs.
- Coordinate duplication and mailings.
- Support special projects and events across Enrollment Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
- 1-3 years' administrative experience, preferably in higher education, required.
- Bachelor's degree.
Technology Skills
- Facility with typical desktop computer software programs, including Excel, required.
- Proficiency in online environments required, ability to learn the University's administrative computing software, reporting tools, scheduling software, etc.
Human Relations Skills:
- Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people.
- Student focused sense of urgency and responsiveness.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team oriented attitude.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work in a fast paced setting.
- Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.
