Ability to follow recipes and retrieve recipe(s) from
electronic data base.
Assists, follows directions, and performs food prep including
but not limited to: cleaning, peeling, cutting vegetables, mixing
ingredients, sandwich preparation and food display.
Prepares food for distribution including but not limited to
plating, servings, setting up and maintaining serving line
selections.
Provides customer service excellence while addressing students,
faculty and staff concerns and complaints and performs problem
resolution; maintains safe and sanitary working conditions.
Replaces stock regularly on a daily basis.
Assist in the setup and/or clean-up of catering requests
including but not limited to maintaining carts, buffets, and
tabling catering functions for all areas throughout the District as
needed.
Delivers catering orders to respected rooms at designated times
to various district locations.
Relays orders and messages as required.
Establishes, maintains, and enhances positive work
relationships with staff, faculty, and administrators.
Enters product deliveries into register inventory tracking
system and assists in inventory counts
Cleans dishes, trays, pots, pans and other relevant tools and
eating equipment and performs routine cleaning.
Cleans tables and food service areas.
Practices honesty by demonstrating a consistent and
uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles,
values, truthfulness and accuracy in all actions.
Collaborates in the instruction of culinary students and
student workers.
Performs other related duties within the scope of the position
as required for the efficient operation of the division and to
support institutional objectives.
Qualifications
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation
standards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies and
procedures.
Required Education & Experience : High School Diploma or
G.E.D equivalency required and (1) year of experience in related
area

equipment including basic and safe knife skills.

- Physical ability sufficient to lift and move supplies up to 50

staff, faculty, students, representatives from outside agencies,

Supplemental Information
This is a part-time 43-week, in-person position (up to 19 hours per
week) based primarily at the Oak Creek campus.
Standard hours
are 7:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday . * 43-week

Compensation Salary pay rates are listed up to the midpoint
of the range and placement is determined based on years of
experience, internal salary equity, and a review of the applicant's
employment and educational background as listed on the job
application.
