"Custodian - Day Shift (3 positions to be filled)"

General Requirements: Less than a high school diploma with the ability to read and write. Minimum of six months related experience. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: Performs custodial and routine maintenance duties, in various areas of the University. Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties.

Primary Responsibilities: Duties may include but are not limited to the following duties: buffing or polishing floors, cleaning carpet, wet mopping, dust mopping, restroom cleaning, vacuuming carpets or rugs. Collection and removal of trash or rubbish, dusting, polishing furniture, stripping, and refinishing of floors and performs all cleaning and related duties. Performs other related duties as assigned.
