Primary emphasis is on carpeted and hard-surfaced floor maintenance, trash removal, restroom cleaning and supplies, building security, removal of snow, ice, dirt and debris from entrances, sidewalks and parking lot, and other related duties. Custodians may work individually or on a team in one of multiple assigned areas. Duties and Responsibilities General Daily Cleaning. Building/Facility Security/Safety. Light maintenance duties. Grounds maintenance. Event and Room setup and teardown. Additional assignments requested by supervisor. Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills High school diploma, GED. Detail oriented. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work under minimal supervision.
