Custodian II

Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Custodian II on the Blue Ridge campus. This position provides custodial and event support to the UNG Blue Ridge campus. This position is responsible for the custodial upkeep of the campus and assists with the set up and takedown for events in meeting rooms, classrooms and common area spaces as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial maintenance duties to include but not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping and vacuuming carpets/floors.
• Clean restrooms to include restocking of soap and paper supplies.
• Assist with the set up and takedown of tables, chairs, pipe & drape and other resources that support events.
• Empty trash receptacles, bags and move trash for disposal.
• Sweep outside walkways, steps and patios. Police the grounds around the building.
• Perform custodian and event support related duties as assigned.
