stairwells. Maintains rest rooms which includes cleaning of walls, sinks, fixtures, toilets and mirrors. Replenishes towels, tissues and soap dispensers. Empties trash receptacles. Performs recycling duties when necessary. Cleans entrances to buildings. Includes glass on entrance doors and exterior areas to buildings. Polices areas around buildings for litter. Performs work orders assigned by the Custodial Supervisor which are associated with assisting the day custodial staff with set ups of special events and college activities. Clears snow and ice from entranceways, walkways, patios and steps. Shovels or sweeps areas and applies calcium chloride. Performs other duties as assigned which may include, but not limited to, custodial tasks. Qualifications - Education High school diploma or equivalency desirable. Qualifications - Experience Six months – one year experience in custodial maintenance. Qualifications - Skills Need to be able to operate the following equipment. 1. Automatic carpet extracting machine 2. 19” rotary floor machine 3. 17” high speed floor machine for (spray buffing) 4. Must have a valid driver’s license.
