Position Summary
Provide basic routine cleaning services using defined methods, procedures, and equipment to create an environment that is safe, clean, comfortable, and sanitary for students, faculty, staff, and community members that are on campus.
Job Duties
Responsibility Area: Routine Cleaning
Duties: Clean daily classrooms, conference rooms, research labs, offices, entrances, stairwells, water fountains, and other areas as assigned. Dust mop, spot mop and auto scrub entry ways and hallways. Clean and restock restrooms daily. Vacuum, dust, empty trash and perform other cleaning duties to assigned areas daily. Change light bulbs.

Responsibility Area: Restorative and Project Cleaning
Duties: Provide restorative and project cleaning including, but not limited to vents, carpet spotting, moving furniture and other as assigned. Clean all equipment after every usage.

Responsibility Area: Responding to Emergencies
Duties: Respond to emergencies, such as floods, by quickly mobilizing to mitigate water damage, ensure safety, and assist with cleanup efforts.

Essential Function: No
Required Experience: Requires the ability to understand and follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical labor, to work effectively on a team and independently, to interact courteously with a variety of people. Criminal background check and drug screen required of successful candidate.
