Event Preparation Assistance: Assists with special
events including but not limited to table and chair setup.
Additional Tasks: Pitches in to assist colleagues when
needed.
Qualifications:
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift moderately heavy items
(up to 50 lbs.), and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of
time.
- Must be safety conscious, able to read, write and understand
written and verbal instructions and work with a diverse group of
staff and students.
- Ability to work on weekends may be required. During emergency
situations will be required to work in the event of a personnel
shortage.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
for cleaning jobs that include weekends. Does not apply to
part-time cleaning jobs.
- The ability to foster and enhance a thriving, diverse,
inclusive, and culturally vibrant community, while promoting a
sense of belonging among students, faculty and staff colleagues,
and alumni. Ability to read, write and understand written and
verbal instructions.
Compensation:
The rate for this position is $16.00 an hour. Except for
roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist
selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors,
including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications,
experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The
stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and
reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at
the time of posting.
