bending, shoveling, pulling, pushing, climbing on a ladder and lifting in order to perform various cleaning and set-up tasks. Frequent lifting requiring the execution of up to sixty pounds of force to move and use supplies, use cleaning aids and equipment. Works with cleaning chemicals and compounds and polishing materials that may produce strong and/or offensive odors. May work in various weather conditions with extremes in heat and cold. Completion of a physical to verify the applicants ability to perform the duties of the position. Work sample to demonstrate the applicants ability to perform the duties of the position. Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University's insurance carrier. Desired Qualifications: Previous custodial/janitorial experience is desirable.
